The energy in Barcelona hits you right away… busy streets, lively shops, and architecture that feels like it was all designed to be seen together. We wandered through the colorful curves of Park Güell before taking a long walk back to our downtown hotel, passing neighborhood after neighborhood that felt distinctly Barcelona.

The beaches each had their own personality, and between empanadas on the boardwalk, tapas, and paella, we ate our way happily through the city. Best of all, we happened to be there at the same time as lifelong friends, sharing a beach day and one long, laughter-filled dinner that made Barcelona even more memorable.
