Pastel Houses and Pelicans

I recently had a couple of days in San Francisco, and just enough time to get in a couple walks around the city.
Walking through San Francisco gave me a little bit of everything: quiet streets lined with pastel houses, the Bay Bridge peeking out between buildings, and pelicans keeping watch along the piers. I made my way past Fisherman’s Wharf and its old clock, caught a glimpse of Alcatraz in the distance, and ended the evening with the bridge silhouetted in the sunset.
Fun fact: the clock tower at the Ferry Building once kept the whole city on time - its chimes were how streetcar conductors knew when to stay on schedule.
