The CFC Photographers' Group is a new community group that aims to provide a place for photographers to practice and develop their skills with the support of like-minded creatives. The group's goal is to foster the creation of amazing images through monthly photo challenges and regular group outings, as well as topical discussions and image critique. The CFC Photographers' Group is open to any photographer who's looking to grow creatively and professionally in a challenging and supportive environment. People interested should be familiar with how their camera works, and have access to a camera with manual controls.
The group meets the first Thursday of each month at CFC, Room 221. There are also quarterly outings to nearby locations to photograph as a group.
Jason Wall and Scott Henderson lead this group:
- Jason is a member of CFC with a passion for documentary photography and studio lighting. He enjoys photographing the third world and lighting both indoors and out. Occasionally, he tries his hand at landscapes. You can see his work at jasonwallphoto.com.
