Brooks | FAMILY

For the Brooks' family session, we went out to Meadowlark Botanical Gardens in Vienna, VA - what a beautiful park! We had so many great places to take photos of this beautiful family, and the girls were excited to get their "diva" on for a couple photos!

For photogs - this shoot was lit with two barebulb speedlites triggered by a PocketWizard FlexTT5 on-camera and PlusII transceivers on-flash.

The weather was balmy, the bugs were swarmy, the lights were heavy, but the family was happy.

I've known Leigh Anne for a looooong time, and was quite excited when she asked if I was available for a family photo shoot that she was giving her mom as a Mother's Day gift.

We hit up a new spot in Leesburg, which turned out to be fabulous. The sun sets behind a wall of trees and golden fields. Birds are numerous (as are the bugs they feast on), and there was nobody else in sight.

We also went to downtown Leesburg, which is filled with 18/19th century architecture and the awesome "old town" that's hard to find.
